Tink & Friends - this was for one of my oldest friends. She needed a cake for her one year old with a matching smash cake and a small cake for her dad, so there were actually two smash cakes. The bottom layer of this one was made with whole wheat flour since she is allergic to bleached flour, and it turned out pretty good! Almost like brownies.

Cinderella pillow cake with slipper - This was a chocolate fudge cake covered in fondant. This was my first try at a shoe and my second attempt with pillows. I had a really good time with this one and learned some new tricks. *grin*

Nora Butterfly

Nora Butterfly - This was another first birthday cake, only this time I did the matching smash cake for the one year old to dive into in the shape of a butterfly. This one is buttercream icing with fondant elements. It is a french vanilla cake with sour cream chocolate filling.

Luau cake - This one is marble on top and banana sour cream cake on bottom with cream cheese filling and covered with fondant.

Barbie Mariposa cake - This was such a fun cake. I hadn't even really heard of this before. Thank heaven for Google. LOL I loved the little bunny guy. Too cute. This one had very simple matching cupcakes.

Lake Powell wedding

Lake Powell wedding cake - This one is all rice krispie treats. It was for my brother-in-law and his new wife and I loved doing this one! My wonderful sister-in-law helped me by making the bride and groom figures since we were in a bit of a time crunch and I think she did awesome. The boat is a replica of their boat and Gunsight Butte is in the background.
